Just a person with a passion for chemistry and wine, but mostly just wine.
I’m superficial but have a deep seated desire to be profound. When I start to look deep, I usually get distracted by the shiny things near by. Either that or the dishes that need to be done.
I’m glad you have kids because someone will need to take care of me in about 50 years. My kids all have four legs and hack up fur balls. I keep trying to come up with a scheme where that will make money, but no luck yet.
I hate to travel and don’t like talking to new people. But every year, I come **this close** to flying enough miles to get superstar status on the airlines. I also drive one hour each way to work. Twice a year, I get about 80 new people in my life and have to find a way to communicate with them about things that they really don’t care about but that I find infinitely fascinating. For them, it’s like being stuck on a boat ride that you can’t escape with a blind date that likes to talk.
I like to write. But I don’t really want anyone to read what I have to say. What if you don’t like it? I can’t take the rejection.
I like to take photos. Especially of things that I find funny. You might scratch your head, but they make me chuckle inside.
Darren wants to know if you plan to branch out into the chemistry of beer…
Maybe one day, but wine is giving me enough problems in the lab as it is.
Have a nice day !
Hey there V.!
Great looking blog – have just added it to my bloglines feed! I will be baaaaack! C.
Yeah!! I blog-stalked yours today. I like your photos, BTW.
Hi Vanessa,
I was also running in the sleet the other day. And yes: I would also have been run over by the woman of 66 if she kept a pace of 23 min over 5 km.
Christmas is slowly dawning upon us here in Sweden. The temperature is there but we still have no snow in Uppsala – you have to go 150 km north-west. Nevtertheleess, the spirit is growing upon us, as the Christmas tree and the kids’ candy cooking are spreading lovely sensations through the appartment.
Best wishes to you and Jim, and I hope to see you soon,
Leif
